Aerotek Welder/Fabricator | $23/hr in Canton, Ohio
Welder/ Fabricator | Up to $23/hr | 3rd Shift
We are looking for a skilled Welder Fabricator (Structural MIG) to join our team. This is a 3rd shift position with hours from 8:00pm to 6:00am, Sunday through Wednesday. The role involves performing MIG weld fabrication on structural steel and some stainless steel, using O52 wire to weld thick plates in one pass, and conducting flat welds. The position is based in Canton, OH.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG weld fabrication on structural steel and some stainless steel.
Use O52 wire to weld thick plates in one pass, primarily flat welds.
Read blueprints and use tape measures to perform accurate welds.
Utilize torches, grinders, and other power tools for material fabrication.
Assist with material handling using overhead cranes.
Essential Skills
2+ years of welding experience or a welding certification.
Experience with MIG welding on structural steel.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and using tape measures.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Fitting experience is a plus.
TIG welding experience is nice to have.
Experience with O52 wire is a plus.

Our facility is very clean, organized, and climate-controlled, providing a safe working environment. Currently, we have about 8 employees on the night shift, and we are looking to nearly double that number. The job shop environment and laid-back management style make it a pleasant place to work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
