Actalent Robotics Engineer in Canton, Ohio

Job Title: Robotics EngineerJob Description

The Robotics Engineer will spend most of their time working out of ROBOGUIDE. Primary duties include owning the simulation foundation for developing a trustworthy robot, creating digital simulations of robotics in packaging and palletizing systems that deliver collision-free systems which make rate and fulfill all customer requirements, developing and overseeing custom tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of robotic simulation workflows and testing, developing off-line programs for current and future robotic system builds, pricing and recommending the most beneficial robotic components needed to achieve customer requirements, and collaborating with the Applications Engineering Team to help integrate Robotics into mechanical automation. Travel will be required to attend customer sites for application verification and sales support, various Trade Shows, Expos, and training for continued personal growth.

Hard Skills

  • Proficiency with Fanuc Robots

  • Experience using ROBOGUIDE for simulations

  • Ability to support pre-sale and post-sale activities

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Canton, Ohio.
