Confidential Program Administrator Coordinator in Canton, Ohio

We are currently seeking a reliable, caring, compassionate and mature experienced Program Coordinator who is sincerely interested in improving the life of those we serve. This position supports those we serve in a home or community-based day program. The Program Coordinator must be passionate who can successfully assist in directing program staff to provide high quality services to individuals we support. In this role you will help manage the day-to-day operations with the support of your administration.

Please only apply if you have at least 3 years of verifiable experience as a Residential Manager or higher at a DD Agency. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred and/or 1 year of management experience in an unrelated field is acceptable in lieu of this experience.

Duties and Job Responsibilities include these, and other duties as required:

  • Assist in the development and the delivery of quality services and engaging activities that meet the individuals' needs
  • Plans, coordinates and evaluates staff efforts to achieve program, organization and individual outcomes
  • Keeping records in Accordance to State Requirements
  • PRT/CTL Assistance
  • Client Related Emergency Response
  • Transportation Case -- Acquisitions & amp; Route Planning
  • Implements Individual Service Plans (ISP); ensures on-going communication with planning team and attending ISP meeting
  • Shares responsibility for timekeeping and billing for services provided
  • Builds and maintains relationships with families, Regional Centers, and regulatory agencies
  • Prepares incident reports for both internal and external agencies as needed
  • Develops and implements activity schedules
  • Works with Direct Care and Residential Home and Assistant Managers to oversee Individuals' care, supervision, and safety
  • Performing random site drop ins and maintaining a strong leadership presence within the home sites
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports
  • Respond back to phone calls and emails promptly
  • File MUI reports and Follow-up reports
  • Document hours worked
  • Add schedule to Google calendar weekly
  • Implement policy and procedure
  • Acts as Direct Support Professional as needed
  • Assisting managers with finding coverage for shifts
  • Evaluations
  • Disciplinary Action
  • Conduct and Attend Staff trainings
  • 40-hour work week or more if needed
  • On call rotation during non-work hours
  • Communicating current and future hiring needs to hiring department

Qualifications:

  • At least three years' experience providing support to individuals with intellectual and development disabilities, including at least one year in a comparable program OR bachelor's degree in human services related field -AND-
  • Demonstrated ability to provide staff training, supervision and planning
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Ability to effectively establish and maintain meaningful relationships
  • Ability to coordinate activities and services to meet the on-going needs of individuals served
  • Strong follow-through to ensure quality services, regulations and Individuals' rights are upheld
  • High energy, goal-oriented, and an ability to inspire people
  • Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must pass background investigation that includes FBI/BCI fingerprint check
