JOB SUMMARY:
The Parts Specialist Counter will be responsible for excellent customer service. Extending optimal customer care and concern is a priority. This position will require completing tasks at the parts counter, such as receiving parts calls, greeting, and assisting walk-in customers, completing all paperwork, and processing it accordingly, and handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions. They will be expected to perform all related warehouse duties, including accurate counting, receiving, and shipping of parts, receiving stock, accounting for warranty items, and building hoses. This person is expected to perform all necessary tasks surrounding contamination control and strongly focus on safety.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience: Must have one or more years of warehouse and inventory experience, some of which should have been in a mechanical parts environment. Knowledge and experience with heavy-duty trucks or Peterbilt trucks are also preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Manual Dexterity: Regular repetitive use of hands , wrists, and fingers will be required.
Mobility: Frequently required to sit or stand for prolonged periods. Occasionally will stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
Strength: May occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds of weight.
Vision: Specific vision abilities include color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: The noise level can vary from quiet in office settings to moderate or loud in other situations, with sudden loud noises possible.
