Aerotek MIG Welder in Canton, Ohio
Currently Hiring MIG Welders on All Shifts! Up to $23/hr
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on structural steel, aluminum, and stainless steel with thicknesses ranging from 7 to 20 gauge.
Read and interpret blueprints and tape measures accurately.
Utilize hand and power tools to fit and fabricate products.
Lift materials weighing between 50-75 lbs as needed to position them for welding.
Operate JIBB cranes to move materials around the workspace.
Set up and adjust welding machines, including dialing and setting up welders, and adjusting voltage.
Weld metal tubes and tack them together, welding beads uphill and downhill.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience in MIG (GMAW) welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and structural steel.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Ability to read tape measures accurately, including down to 16ths of an inch.
Experience with hand and power tools.
Ability to pass a weld test, including setting up and adjusting welding machines.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00
