GAI Consultants, Inc. IT Manager 2 in Canton, Ohio

Description GAI Consultants, Inc. is looking for an IT Manager that be responsible for all information technology operations or processes required or provided by the organization. The successful candidate will have the ability to work from any of GAI's office locations. Job Duties: Involved in all aspects of operational planning, projects, and the allocation of IT resources. Oversees a team that provides complex technical support with the goal of ensuring integrity and reliability of technologies across the corporation. Manages the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of IT systems, including networks, data centers, servers, PCs, operating systems, and associated hardware. Responsible for all IT purchasing including hardware, software, infrastructure, and communications mechanisms. Manages all IT contracts, subscriptions, and maintenance agreements. Works closely with IT leadership and operations to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions that meet the needs of the business. Assists with capital planning, budgeting, and vendor selection and management. Experience and Education: Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles. Performs complex tasks typically following established processes. Leads and directs the work of other employees and provides recommendations for personnel decisions. Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change. Typically requires a bachelor's degree and at least 12 years of experience. Reports to: Typically reports to a department head. Competencies: People Leadership. Teamwork and Collaboration.
