Electro-Mechanical Assembler - Canton, Ohio - JOB 24-00192 Hourly Rate: $16.00/HR A well-established hand tool manufacturer located in Canton is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler. The Electro-Mechanical Assembler's key duties are to position parts in specified relationship to each other using hands and tools. Bolts, screws, clips, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together by hand or by using hand tools or portable power tools. May perform functional test as necessary. Fill in for Production Coordinator when needed. Uses computer to manage hardware, purchase parts, stock parts, etc. Assist with packing parts. Use prints to help solve assembly and/or parts problems. Requirements • High School Diploma or GED required. • Electronics degree or certification OR experience in Electrical Assembly preferred • Ability to read instructions, schematics, and Engineering assembly drawings. • Must have 1 years' experience in a manufacturing environment. • Must have good math skills. • Must be dependable and self-motivating. • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. • Must be able to lift 50lbs. • Must have a valid driver's license and dependable means of transportation. • Must be able to work 1st shift, 7am 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
