GAI Consultants, Inc. Assistant IT Manager in Canton, Ohio

Description GAI Consultants, Inc. is looking for an Assistant IT Manager that will manage the information technology service desk operations for the organization. The successful candidate will have the ability to work from any of GAI's office locations. Job Duties: Manages a team of service desk technicians. Develops and supports information systems products and services which include, but are not limited to personal computers, peripherals, Internet connectivity, installed software applications, assists with networking or access issues. Ensures service requests are properly resolved according to organizational standards. Develops, coordinates, and maintains standard operating procedures for IT services. Oversees service performance, assists with purchasing, testing, or the installation of service desk equipment. Experience and Education: Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles. Performs complex tasks typically following established processes. Leads and directs the work of other employees and provides recommendations for personnel decisions. Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change. Typically requires a bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience. Reports to: Typically reports to a department head. Competencies: People Leadership. Teamwork and Collaboration.
