-working with robotic machine -machine heats and shapes the material -operator stands behind a glass cage and wait for product to roll out on the conveyor, pick up material and put in the bin for shipping -logging piece into computer and then move to next pieces - front and back end of vehicle metal fascia (about 4-5 feet long, less than 20 pounds a piece) -could help in laser department too - stand behind cage, machine will drill holes - they then pickup the part and place in bin for shipping As a machine operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Duties include inspecting parts to specifications and making adjustments, or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications. Performing routine maintenance checks and repairs. You must comply with company safety rules and regulations in machinery operation. Requires bending, lifting, standing, walking.
