Need 37 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag. Equipment Operators to work in Cannon Falls, MN and Kasson, MN. From: 02/15/2025 to 12/15/2025 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon. - Sat. 8 hrs./day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The hours may vary during different times of the crop season. Salary: $3,600.00/month ($900.00/week). Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here, at his sole discretion. JOB DUTIES: Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers. Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery. Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers. Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment. Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks. Direct and monitor the activities of work crews engaged in planting, weeding, or harvesting activities. Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines, and to discard diseased or rotten products. Irrigate soil, using portable pipes or ditch systems, and maintain ditches or pipes and pumps. Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. Crops: Corn JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 3 months experience. Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 lbs. Able to obtain driver's license within 30 days of hire. No High School Diploma/GED required. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employer's expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
