Shop ForemanAre you ready to lead a dynamic team in a thriving insulation/fabrication shop environment? CPS Recruitment is seeking a motivated individual to join an exciting company as a Shop Foreman.This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $75,000 per year.As a Shop Foreman, you'll play a crucial role in providing leadership, direction, and supervision to a team of insulators/fabricators. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a safe and productive work environment while coordinating activities within the shop/yard. This role involves hands-on work alongside your team members and effective communication with management and other departments.Key Responsibilities:Lead and organize shop/yard activities, including loading finished goods onto trucks.Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations and initiatives.Mentor and train team members to achieve business objectives.Reads and interprets blueprints, instructions, and other documentation to plan work activitiesUse of forklifts and small hand tools is a mustManage labor resources effectively to meet departmental goals.Serve as a liaison between the shop, fabrication area, and office.Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role, college education is preferredExcellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting instructions.Valid NYS Driver's License and ability to operate powered industrial trucks.Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the mechanical insulation fieldPhysical ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in various environmental conditions.If you're ready to take on a rewarding leadership role in a dynamic industry, apply now to become a Shop Foreman!
