ManpowerGroup Forklift Operator in Canaan, Connecticut

Our client is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team! As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the operations team supporting efficient material handling and logistics. The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a metrics-driven environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Canaan, CT

Pay Range: $23 per hour

Shift: 7am-7pm (Rotating Days)

What's the Job?

  • Use forklifts to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products within the warehouse.

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and material movement.

  • Develop skills in basic tasks and procedures within the warehouse operations.

  • Adhere to quality guidelines and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Work effectively under general to limited supervision.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Prior Forklift experience is needed.

  • Basic skills in material handling and logistics.

  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend documents in English.

  • General computer skills and basic math abilities.
