Your Role
The Seafreight Operational Care Manager is in charge of delivering operational excellence while continuously optimize cost of production. Development of seafreight export/import operations, enhancing operational capability. Managing the Operational Care Centre between cost-efficiency and high-quality processing. Responsibility is also given for business development in regards to carrier performance and management. The KN import/export services are to be improved to constantly develop the national seafreight business.
Your Responsibilities
Coordinate and distribute the operational tasks into the team to ensure the operational excellence through high-quality shipment management
Cooperate and support Seafreight Customer Care Location and Systems & Processes for optimized customer experience
Monitor the adherence of procedures to ensure development of seafreight operational KPIs including country regulations, shipment and documentation, operational systems and financial result of the operations
Measure and ensure the highest levels of productivity within the organization
Ensure high level quality of export/import services
Guide and developing techinical behaviors into the team
Closely cooperate with Customer Service and Operations to gain specialized knowledge and to receive first-hand feedback
Support to implement new / existing customer targets
Monitor and prepare reports related to internal KPIs
Monitor revenue and costs inputs, GP accuracy in a timely manner
Monitor supplier invoice acknowledge and support payments process
Your Skills and Experiences
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration (focussed on Foreign Trade), Supply Chain Management or similar
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Sea Logistics
Leadership Experience
Fluent English
Good knowledge of the market and Carriers' relationship
Project Management Experience
Proficiency in Spanish is desirable
