U.S. Marine Corps HOUSING MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina

Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will plan, organize and perform work required to ensure proper customer service and compliance with appropriate mandates of the housing office policies and procedures. You will assist senior specialist with determining the total housing requirement for military personnel assigned to the installation, evaluating existing housing assets, including PPV units. You will maintain tenant occupant history files that include occupancy date, special requests, childcare provider information, number of complaints, etc. You will assist housing tenants in resolving complaints and disputes concerning various situations in accordance with business agreements. You will perform facility inspections and maintenance requirements to identify deficiencies. You will prepare and conduct audiovisual presentations concerning housing before commands, groups, and incoming personnel being reassigned to the area. You will prepare policy letters for high level officials and monitor progress for approvals and/or request. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Direct onsite management and administration to plan, develop, schedule, implement for family housing services and property management, reviews statistical data to develop current and past expenditures for cost operations; monitors and maintains maintenance information; and provides briefs to various levels of officials, tenants, and contractors for recommendations and/or solutions. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
