DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Description: The Design Engineer Co-op will work for the product engineering department.
The daily work will be split between "feet on the ground" on the manufacturing floor and part in the office. Working with cross-functional teams throughout the entire lifecycle of the product and processes.
Qualifications: * Pursuing a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering * CAD-CREO Modeling * FEA-CREO simulation * Able to work near full-time during summer with the potential for permanent placement post graduation.
Preferred: * AutoCAD & 3D modeling experience * Geometric Dimension and Tolerances
Personal Characteristics: * Must have the ability to work with people. Must be a team player with willingness to freely exchange ideas and relate well with others * A hands-on background with a mechanical aptitude * Must be willing to assume responsibility for accuracy and quality of work assigned * Self-motivated to work in a rapidly changing priority environment
