Summary You will serve as a ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST in the G-F Division, Environmental Affairs Branch of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BUTLER. Responsibilities You will serve as the public awareness coordinator and recycling compliance coordinator of the Qualified Recycling Program. You will ensure the recycle guidelines and policies are followed by all military personnel and civilians abord the installation. You will provide quality control to ensure recyclable materials meet sales contract agreements/requirements. You will write reports as to any discrepancies, either internal or external to the Qualified Recycling Program. You will write reports identifying any trends, issues, or constraints to the Qualified Recycling Program. You will supply information to employees and supervisors as required pertaining to the program. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of SPECIALIZED experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing administrative functions and compliance with recycling guidelines; address recycling non-compliance issues through education and positive reinforcement, promote participation and compliance through focus on the positive benefits of the recycling program. GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of SPECIALIZED experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting with guiding and training on recycling techniques to comply with recycling policies and procedures. Commute area is defined as the geographic area surrounding the duty location in which people can reasonably be expected to travel back and forth daily.
