Description
The Capital Area Division (CAD) of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking an energetic and experienced Senior Force Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a background in supporting the Government in the planning and execution of large technology programs. The successful applicant for this contingent position will support the Office of the Secretary of Defense in Hawaii. This position is supporting the DoD’s Assault Breaker II (ABII) program requires a candidate with expertise in Joint Force design, development and application, operational constraints, concepts of operation, concepts of employment, development, and execution of CMMD operational plans, threat tactics and responses, or logistics approaches.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline
8-10 years of relevant experience
Current DoD TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility
Expertise in a minimum of two or more of the following: Joint Force design, development and application, operational constraints, concepts of operation, concepts of employment, development, and execution of CMMD operational plans, threat tactics and responses, or logistics approaches
Experience working with Joint Staff and warfighters
Desired Qualifications:
10+ years of relevance experience
Experience supporting the Office of the Secretary of Defense and/or DARPA
Experience with the Assault Breaker program
Experience in wargaming and exercises
This position is contingent upon award of a contract (one base year + four option years) expected in October 2024 supporting the Department of Defense.
