The Work

As a Computer Developer on the OA team, you will be instrumental in supporting Operations Analysis studies through sophisticated modeling, simulation, and analysis of military systems. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing analysis and study tools in collaboration with team members.

Engaging with internal stakeholders to capture desired performance outcomes.

Researching and modeling military systems and scenarios using tools like AFSIM.

Creating tools to quantify Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs) and Measures of Performance (MOPs).

Designing simulation plug-ins to visualize results and facilitate meaningful conclusions for customers.

Preparing and presenting reports and briefings on developmental hurdles and milestones.

Supporting cross-Lockheed Martin business area simulations and wargaming activities.

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, or other technical degree

-Knowledge of C++, Python, Excel VBA and/or constructive simulation tools.

-Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired Skills:

Military operational experience

Modeling & Simulation and/or Cameo/System Modeling Language (SysML) experience

Familiarity/experience with Operations Analysis tools such as Advanced Framework for Simulation Integration and Modeling (AFSIM), System Tool Kit (STK), Command Professional Edition (PE), ExtendSim, and/or Cameo

Experience with C++, Python, Excel VBA and Git/Gitlab

Familiarity with Agile practices & execution

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
