IT Data Governance Analyst Apply his/her analytics mastery to enable data literacy and connect the business community with trusted data assets, the IT Data Governance Analyst will clarify, profile, and analyze data and metadata to ensure it meets data governance standards and can be discovered by end users. The incumbent needs to have an analytical background, knowledge of the CPG business; knowledge of commercial processes, domain knowledge in Supply Chain Finance domain. The incumbent must possess the ability to articulate complex analytics in practical terms to business partners to facilitate adoption and execution. Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial. What you will do... Principal Accountabilities: Partners with the Business and IT digital partners to profile key data assets from existing reporting platforms and support the development process of data fabric/products. Mentors business team members on data governance principles and applies domain expertise to answer self-service business questions. Collaborates with stakeholders and supports onboarding activities. Enable discoverability of data assets through Campbell's data catalog and marketplace. Analyze data quality checks across data assets to lift repeatability patterns and identify conflicting ones. Profile data to identify data quality rules and validate quality check output. Enrich data assets with business metadata in Campbell's data catalog according to guidelines and standards. Onboard functional groups on the data catalog and marketplace and identify opportunities for enhancements to meet functional needs. Approve data steward content for visibility in the data catalog. Job Complexity CSC has a multitude of rich data assets; the challenge is that in many cases they are highly federated and there isn't alignment on one-version-of-the-truth. The incumbent will need to capitalize on his/her technical mastery to profile extraction logic from various data sources and document transformations in the key data assets in the catalog as we redefine our data language. Analyze business teams reports to lift descriptions, summaries and relevant measures and document in the catalog, so users can discover the data assets.
