Will partner with Retail Leaders, and Branch Managers, Mortgage Sales Leaders, Mortgage Processing Manager, Underwriting Manager, Closing Manager and Quality Control & Compliance Manager to achieve goals and meet customer expectations. This position is also responsible for the preparation and verification of closing documents while adhering to company policies and procedures.to ensure accuracy and completeness. Job Duties Will manage and lead the day to day operations of the Closing Team. Duties include hiring, scheduling, time card approval, PTO approval, coaching and development, training, performance monitoring which includes completing quarterly and annual reviews, compensation management and assist with disciplinary issues or concerns. Ensures all conditions have been satisfied prior to setting the closing date. Responsible for setting the closing date with title companies and borrowers. Will validate all lender and third party fees and disbursements. Responsible for preparing and sending closing documents. Will prepare and send Closing Disclosures and ensuring its accuracy based on TRID required wait period. Responsible for understanding investor, agency and government products and programs. Responsible for understanding the Bank's policies, procedures, products and services. Responsible for communicating closing status with mortgage consultants, realtors, builders and bank partners as needed. Prepares wires and funds loans. Will perform special projects as assigned Education, Experience and Job Skills Associate's degree or equivalent work experience. 2+ years of closing or related mortgage experience required. Knowledge of Reg B (ECOA), Reg C (HMDA), Reg X (TRID) and Reg Z (TILA) requirements Knowledge of Fannie, FHA, VA, and USDA programs Knowledge of Encompass a plus Ability to work in a fast paced, task and detailed oriented environment Proficient use of technology Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to work flexible hours.
