Job Summary
SUMMARY AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:Responsible for the daily oversight of the Incoming and Final Inspection departments and maintaining the highest level of Quality and Safety throughout.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:include the following. Other duties may be assigned as deemed by the Quality Manager.
Quality Functions
-Develops general quality attributes of product using input from Engineering, Manufacturing and Customer Specifications
-Develops general quality attributes of components using input form Engineering, Manufacturing and Supplier
-Establishes and administers the overall Final Inspection Process
-Establishes and administers the Incoming Inspection, FAIR per AS9102, and Environmental
Evaluation testing processes.
-Gathers, processes and analyzes Quality Data to include RCCA activites
-Coordinates Internal and Supplier Quality Audits
-Communication of Supplier Quality Performance and Internal Quality metrics to Senior
Management
-Establishes and administers the Calibration System.
EHS Functions
-Perform Safety audits within workplace (new equipment/process, PPE usage, production floor Safety)
-Provide training for associates (Right to know, weekly safety talks)
-Arrange fire extinguisher training (PASS)
-Investigate accidents and report to Management
-Maintain regulatory compliances (REACH, RoHS)
-Maintain emergency response protocols (active shooter, chemical spill, natural disaster)
OTHER DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES
Some database management and reporting.
Position often requires flexible scheduling.
Infrequent travel as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Min of 3 to 5 years experience in a supervisory role, preferably in quality disciplines but not required.
Excellent Excel, Word and Pow rPoint skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and to work with all levels of management
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Experience with General QC Protocols
Experience with AQL and other sampling methods
Trained in SPC Techniques
ISO and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $74,999.00 - $75,000.00 per year
