KBF HR Coordinator in California

KBF is currently seeking an organized HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team.

This position will support the Human Resources department while also ensuring the smooth daily operation of the office. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to grow their career in Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing employee documentation and maintaining HR systems.

  • Maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Assist with benefits administration, employee relations, and other HR functions as needed.

  • Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and events.

  • Respond to basic HR-related inquiries and escalate complex issues to the HR Manager.

  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations, assisting with audits and compliance requests as needed.

  • Support and manage HR systems as assigned.

  • Identify opportunities and work to improve processes and create efficiencies; serve as an HR subject matter expert on firm-wide initiatives as assigned

  • Ad hoc HR projects as assigned by HR leadership.

  • Ad hoc office administration support as needed, including parking validation, supply ordering, mail management, greeting visitors, etc.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience working in an HR or administrative related role required; emphasis/experience in Human Resources, Business or a related field preferred

  • Previous experience with total rewards, employee relations, and ADP WFN preferred

  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) across all levels of the organization; ability to present in front of groups

  • Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to detail review

  • Exercise a high degree of professionalism with confidential information

  • Knowledgeable in using complex MS Excel workbooks/spreadsheets to administer projects

This position is not available as a remote/hybrid position and must be in office 5 days a week.

Irvine, CA

These ranges are specific to potential hires who will work and reside in California, United States if selected for the role.

  • Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000
