2 Circle Inc. VFDE Ops IPT - Military Operations Analyst in California, Maryland

This position serves as Military Operations Analyst that will support contracts with the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) and the DoD, particularly in areas of technology transition and fielding. This position will provide warfare analysis, kill chain engineering, and subject matter expertise to inform weapon system models and behaviors. Additionally, this position will serve as an All-Domain Test Range project officer, engaging DoD stakeholders from every warfighting domain to define experimentation technical requirements, scope, and schedule. The position will assist in design of experiments for test execution and provide warfighting capability assessments and analysis. The individual will support and lead cross-functional, high-performance teams conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform high-level decision makers.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Lead advisor to DoD program managers for the evaluation and transition of advanced warfighting tools and technology
  2. Engage DoD stakeholders to support multi-domain constructive, virtual, and live experimentation of advanced warfighting capabilities
  3. Technical and operational advisor in one or more key warfare areas/domains
  4. Analyze science and technology capability lifecycles and transition of capability
  5. Collect, complete, organize and interpret technical data and information
  6. Develop and analyze experimentation project status, schedules, and milestones
  7. Operational support to specified experiments and program integration testing
  8. Integrate technical, operational, and programmatic aspects across various elements to achieve program objectives
  9. Provide model and employment behavior to support large scale constructive environment
  10. Evaluator of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures in cutting-edge warfare environments

Qualifications

Bachelors degree required; intellectual capacity at the Masters level required.

At least five years experience in a multi-level security environment

Minimum of 15 years of experience relevant to military operations and associated technologies within one or more key warfare areas, with demonstrated proficiency in operational and technical analysis of U.S. and adversary CONOPS; Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures

Experience leading and managing teams to solve complex technical, management, and administrative problems.

Demonstrated ability to conduct research and analysis to reach defensible conclusions using incomplete information, to develop well-written analytic products to inform decision making, and to present analytic results orally

Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel)

Efficient and accurate work output

Good documentation, writing, and reporting skills
