Job Description

Reporting to the Associate Vendor Manager, the Vendor Analyst II is accountable for providing technical support and quality approval of vendor estimates confirming scope, estimate accuracy, and timeliness of repairs enabling the delivery of Legendary Customer Experience. They will be responsible for identifying industry best in class repair and estimating trends.

Additional Accountabilities include:

  • Evaluation and QA Approval of Xactanalysis assignments and estimates completed at any time during the course of the claim.

  • Ensuring compliance with policies, standards, guidelines and controls by applying the policies and controls fairly and consistently so vendors understand what to expect

  • Coaching of vendors, to Estimating Standards and repair techniques

  • Manage all Residential Evaluation files in accordance with operational procedures

  • Liaise with the Vendor and file handling Analyst as required in the course of the Evaluation and repair process

  • Complete a comprehensive review of the original and supplementary estimates, images, measurements and any additional supporting documentation

  • Ensure that the scope of the damages are aligned to TDI’s best practice standards and IICRC requirements

  • Determine and record any overwrite/underwrite estimate amounts

  • Provide feedback and coaching to Vendors, during and upon completion of the Evaluation process

  • Monitor the file in terms of Xactanalysis workflow compliance throughout the life cycle of the claim

  • Assist in training or coaching sessions or seminars and share the information as required

  • Creating a positive work environment and being an effective role model by championing TDI’s mission, vision and values

Job Requirements

  • Bilingual (French/English) an asset

  • Formal training/experience with scoping and estimating

  • Xactimate/Xactananlysis Training and Knowledge

  • Insurance experience / background an asset

  • Proficient in the usage of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook

  • ASD training, IICRC Certification for Fire, Smoke, Water and Damage Remediation

  • Technical knowledge of structural repairs

  • CIP / FCIP an asset

  • Effective and confident negotiation ability

  • strong communication skills
