Canadian Tire Product Coordinator in Calgary, Alberta
What you’ll do
The Product Coordinator will support the Product Managers in developing product for the Softgoods Department within CTC’s Owned Brand Division. Key responsibilities of the role include:
Assist the Product Manager and Product Development Managers through the Product Development Lifecycle - Product Development, Merch Sell in and Production.
Manage all material, trim color requests and fabric approvals for each development stage.
Maintain a strong working relationship with overseas and domestic vendors.
Tracking and managing all incoming mail, including samples, material, fabric and trim development.
Collaborate and work closely with team members to ensure a seamless and supportive workflow.
Ability to execute daily tasks with high efficiency and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with an ability to meet tight overlapping deadlines.
Assist team members in preparation for meetings.
Maintaining an organized sample library, filing fabric submits and apparel samples for easy future reference.
Facilitate and collaborate across departments to ensure orders and samples arrive correct and on time in store and online.
Visit stores on a regular basis to review final in store products, product knowledge and competitive market analysis.
What you bring
A Diploma or Degree in Fashion Marketing, Apparel Design, Business Administration, Product Development, OR equivalent industry training, certifications, or related business experience.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PLM (product lifecycle management) software.
Strong understanding of the Product Lifecycle from conception to ideation.
Understanding of garment construction, fit and International and/or domestic production preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with multiple stakeholders internationally and domestically.
Multi-taskers, with excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and development seasons at once with strong attention to detail
