Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler
Job Description
Aerotek is looking for a candidate for an electromechanical assembler who will work in their own area, assembling kitted parts based on process control documents, which include photos and written instructions. Your tasks will involve assembling magnetic actuators from a mechanical perspective and soldering components to IPC standards, such as cables and printed circuit boards. You will use various tools like screwdrivers and torque wrenches while working with small parts. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential.
The standard shift is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility to start earlier if desired.
Pay: $22-24/hr depending on experience
Responsibilities
Assemble kitted parts based on process control documents
Assemble magnetic actuators from a mechanical perspective
Solder components to IPC standards, including cables and printed circuit boards
Use tools such as screwdrivers and torque wrenches
Work with small parts and ensure high attention to detail
Document work accurately
Participate in daily escalation meetings to discuss safety and protocol
Essential Skills
3+ years of electrical assembly experience
1+ years of soldering experience
Proficiency in reading schematics and troubleshooting
Ability to read LCR meters, micrometers, DVM's, and calipers
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Excel
Experience with mechanical assembly and using hand tools
Knowledge of IPC standards and process control documents
Additional Skills & Qualifications
IPC Certification
Electrical testing experience (training provided)
Ability to document work effectively
