Liberty Healthcare Corporation Nurse Supervisor – mental health in CA, United States

Liberty Healthcare is now accepting applications for a full-time Nurse Supervisor position with our organization’s newest forensic mental health program.

This program exclusively serves people who are justice involved and experiencing mental illness.

The goal of this program is to provide rapid mental health services to people in need - so they may achieve improved behavioral health outcomes as quickly as possible.

The program is designed to facilitate early access to services, eliminate barriers to treatment, and restore people to competency as quickly as possible.

Services are provided to clients who are adult inmates at the San Diego Central Jail in downtown San Diego and the Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Facility in Santee.

As a Nurse Supervisor with Liberty, you enjoy an array of responsibilities, including:

  • Providing nursing leadership to the program

  • Managing a small team of LVNs and Psychiatric Technicians

  • Helping to ensure program clients receive high quality mental health services

  • Collaborating with Psychiatrists, licensed clinicians, and ancillary professionals

  • Providing direct care / nursing services to clients

  • Consulting on challenging clinical cases

As a full-time employee of Liberty Healthcare in this role, you can expect:

  • Starting salary between $125,000 and $135,000

You are a good fit for this position if you are licensed professionally as a Registered Nurse and have mental health nursing and leadership experience.

You should also be willing and able to work onsite at the San Diego Central Jail in downtown San Diego and the Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Facility in Santee.
