The Nevada County Behavioral Health Department is looking for a Clinical Supervisor capable of supporting our Adult Behavioral Health Forensic & SUD Team. Duties and programs supported by this division include:
Overseeing the Adult Behavioral Health specialty court processes, outpatient therapy, and coordination of case management and medication management for Nevada County residents who have a serious mental illness.
Providing clinical supervision to interns and practicum students who are accruing hours towards licensure.
Providing clinical guidance and training for the therapists and/or substance use disorder counselors providing mental health or SUD services to ensure that clients are receiving evidence-based treatment and interventions in line with their stated goals and treatment plan.
Ensuring that documentation and authorizations for services are in compliance with federal, state, and county regulations.
Assessment, consultation, coordination, and communication with multiple agencies and community partners.
Services are provided in consultation with the clinical team and regional partners and outside agencies. The work is always interesting and provides opportunities for collaborative, creative problem solving. Nevada County employees can opt to receive dental and vision insurance without opting for health insurance coverage as well. This will give employees more flexibility to match their choice of insurance plans to their specific needs. Delta Dental is the dental provider offered through Nevada County and VSP Vision Care is our vision care provider.
Retirement
The County is a member of the CalPERS retirement system and provides the opportunity for voluntary contributions to a 457 deferred compensation account through Nationwide by way of pre-tax and Roth payroll deductions.
