Your Role and Responsibilities

We're seeking a skilled C/C++ Developer with a strong background in UNIX systems and optional SAP integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions, ensuring seamless integration with SAP systems. This role offers exposure to diverse projects and collaboration with global partners, making it an excellent opportunity for growth and impact.

As a C/C++ Developer in our department, your responsibilities will include:

  • Utilize your expertise in C/C++ programming to design, develop, and maintain software applications within a UNIX environment.

  • Collaborate closely with SAP teams to integrate software solutions, ensuring smooth data exchange and compatibility with SAP systems.

  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging processes to guarantee the quality and reliability of integrated software applications.

  • Optimize software performance and scalability to ensure the best run of SAP software on IBM's Operating Systems, contributing to enhanced customer experience.

  • Keep abreast of the latest technologies and best practices in C/C++ development, UNIX environments, and SAP integration. This includes working on new compilers, exploring new compiler technologies like Rust, and staying updated on Operating System releases.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • experience with C/C++, preferably within a UNIX environment.

  • Proficiency in UNIX/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.

  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming concepts.

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience with SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, or other SAP technologies.

  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development tools (e.g., IDEs, debuggers).

  • problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Perl.

  • Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).

  • (Optional) Experience with SAP integration and familiarity with SAP like SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP Business Suite.
