JOB SUMMARY - The Eastern U.S. Regional Sales Director ensures implementation of strategic objectives and is responsible for independent representative groups, dealers, and end users and reports directly to the Sales Vice President. This position develops market specific sales plans and is responsible for achieving sales targets for the identified territories and market segments. This position is responsible for ensuring the organization’s sales and revenue are managed, developed, and leveraged to their fullest potential within the assigned region.

*This position can reside anywhere in the U.S, but must have the ability to regularly travel up to 35% of time within the Eastern region. Can work remotely in addition to the required travel.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Articulate and lead complex sales processes across multiple distribution channels.

  • Develop and grow strong relationships with A&D, hospitality purchasing groups and contract furniture dealers.

  • Establish strong internal networks to support their sales team’s growth activities.

  • Define and implement sales and distribution strategies in the defined region to align to overall company goals.

  • Manage sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.

  • Ensure a consistent sales approach is set and followed to support growth.

  • Drive execution of sales strategies ensuring processes and metrics are in place to meet and exceed revenue targets.

  • Cultivate and leverage relationships across all GRC business functions, key decision makers within distribution partners and A&D community.

  • Analyze sales data to identify areas of success and opportunity for growth within the region.

  • Maintain high level of industry knowledge, best practices, and developments within our key target markets.

Position Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • This position can reside anywhere in the U.S, but must have the ability to regularly travel up to 35% of time within the Eastern region of the U.S.

  • Proven sales experience as a Regional Sales Manager in commercial and/or hospitality furniture.

  • Demonstrated success leading outside sales representatives.

  • Experience working with hotel brands.

  • Consistently achieved sales goals through your leadership and personal goals.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or marketing-related study.

  • Ability to manage and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).

  • Executive-level presence with excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Built strong cross-functional relationships across customers, partners, and internal teams.

  • Able to learn new technology quickly, as well as adapt to changing needs.

  • Positive, energetic, self-starter with attention to detail and effective at managing multiple projects at once.

  • Act with integrity and keep commitments.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
