Duties:
Oversee Student Union Building (SUB) Information Desk operations and staffing.
Recruit, train, and supervise approximately 10-15 student staff members that provide support for the Information Desk and SUB operations.
Serve as the point of contact for both internal and external users requesting space/services and assist them with the appropriate processes for confirming their event needs.
Oversee and coordinate all room/space scheduling and setups within the SUB, Mill Building, Student Success Center (SSC), and/or the Library Auditorium.
Serve as the primary Student Affairs administrator/point of contact for 25 Live, Montana Tech’s space scheduling software, for facilities of responsibility.
Develop and implement efficient business practices to appropriately maximize conferencing revenue generation, including pricing structure and contract/billing/collection procedures.
Collaborate with other camp/conference partners/stakeholders on-campus, such as Athletics, Information Technology, Facilities, the Business Office, Residence Life, Dining Services, and the Digger Card Center, to ensure guests have a smooth and positive experience.
Work directly with student clubs and campus departments to advise and assist with their event planning.
Assist the Director of Campus Life with the planning and delivery of the new student orientation program.
Identify and prioritize needed maintenance projects/upgrades within facilities of responsibility.
In conjunction with the Digger Card Center and Campus Security, review, approve, and facilitate access as necessary within facilities of responsibility.
Emphasize the Montana Tech values and brand, demonstrate positive customer service, and strive for continuous improvement.
Assist with student affairs and campus-wide programs and initiatives as needed, including but not limited to, new student orientation, campus traditions, admissions events, and University committees.
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Demonstrated ability to creatively plan, organize, and execute events.
Demonstrated experience improving processes and efficiency within an organization/role.
Demonstrated experience utilizing and aligning organizational branding into projects.
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field.
Experience using 25 Live.
Experience using Microsoft Office systems.
