We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This role is vital for managing customer accounts, creating invoices, posting cash to customer accounts, and organizing information for monthly credit meetings. You will play a key role in maintaining various Excel spreadsheets related to accounts receivable and banking activities, making collection calls as needed, and performing month-end general ledger account reconciliations.
Responsibilities
Create and edit invoices.
Post cash to customer accounts.
Organize information for monthly credit meetings.
Maintain various Excel spreadsheets related to accounts receivable and banking activities.
Make collection calls as needed.
Reconcile outside inventory.
Maintain monthly reports for storage revenue and inventory.
Perform month-end general ledger account reconciliations.
Manage customer accounts and set up new customers.
Collect credit information for prospective customers.
Cross-train for accounts payable, receiving, and charting.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience overall in accounts receivable.
3+ years of experience in AR including cash application and invoicing.
Experience in manufacturing or a similar related industry.
Basic proficiency in MS Excel (no pivot tables).
High School Diploma.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Degree (preferred).
Work Environment
Work from home one day per week. The team is small, consisting of a CFO, Accounting Manager, AP, and AR. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The company offers an excellent PTO plan, including 40 hours of sick time from day one. At six months, you will receive 48 hours of vacation time, and at one year, 88 hours of vacation.

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $50000.00
