Our newest opportunity has a home base at our Specialty Care Center in Burnsville, MN. The opening is for a 1.0 FTE (80 hours/2 weeks) Patient Services Coordinator (PSC) .
The PSC will work interdepartmentally to provide care coordination for Prosthetic patients. We need a team member to work day shifts on weekdays only. Operating hours are 8:00am-4:30pm. This position is fully benefit eligible, featuring medical, dental, and vision coverage. We encourage staff development and support continuing education! Responsibilities Job Description
The prime responsibility for this role is to ensure an outstanding patient experience. You would achieve this by displaying effective customer service and problem solving in a friendly and thoughtful manner.
The PSC can also expect to:
Perform include scheduling and registration
Interact closely with patients through phone communication
Follow up with patients after discharge and assist with continued care coordination
Maintain databases, files, and records using programs like Brightree and EPIC
Handle unanticipated changes throughout the day
Serve a variety of clinical populations
Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal and phone skills are required for this position. The self-direct individual who is detail oriented, digitally literate, and flexible will be well-suited for this responsibility. An appreciation for and ability to work with persons of all age levels is highly valued. Preferred qualifications for the PSC include completion of a Vocational/Technical Training program and scheduling experience.
