Description
DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY
To perform quality inspections by utilizing various measuring techniques and standard processes
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
•Maintain standard 5S expectations
•Ensure all pertinent information is documented and recorded onto the Device History Record (DHR)
•Ensure conformance to order specifications on final inspections in a specified department or area or on a designated line
•Perform duties assigned and with minimal supervision
•Maintain an organized and clean work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times
•Focus on continuous Lean Manufacturing improvement and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
•Work effectively with all Stealth departments to exceed internal and external expectations
•Stealth retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary
REQUIRED SKILLS
•Must be a team player, detail-oriented, and honest
Must have the ability to:
•Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
•Read and interpret work instructions, work orders, inspection criteria, tape measures, and company policies and procedures
•Identify and record facts
•Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
Must have:
•Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods
PREFERRED SKILLS
•Familiarity and adeptness with common measuring and test equipment i.e. micrometers, calipers, height gages
•Familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machines, MCOSMOS software
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
•This is an entry level position
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
•6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment as a Mechanical Inspector
•6 months of experience creating CMM inspection routines/programs
•6 months of experience working within an ISO/FDA regulated Quality System
•Current or previous successful employment experience with Stealth Products (directly, independently or through a third party)
REQUIRED EDUCATION
•High School Diploma or GED
PREFERRED EDUCATION
•American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
