The Senior Geotechnical Project Manager will work closely with a team of staff engineers and scientists on challenging and exciting projects largely in urban environments. - Develop new business opportunities.
- Manage and grow client relationships.
- Prepare proposals and project budgets.
- Manage project budgets and prepare invoices.
- Manage and supervise staff engineers.
- Set technical strategy and oversee production of technical work products.
- Plan and coordinate field investigation programs.
- Interpret and analyze field and laboratory data.
- Coordinate and oversee construction administration for development projects.
- Manage preparation of reports, design plans, data tables, specifications, and other deliverables.
- Formulate conclusions, recommendations, and geotechnical strategies for development projects.

- Minimum of ten years relevant experience and a BS in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Focus) or seven years relevant experience and a MS in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Focus).
- Possess Professional Engineering Licensure.
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of geotechnical engineering.
- Experience with geotechnical field work and construction earthwork.
- Strong organizational and time management skills combined with the flexibility to work with shifting priorities.
- Desire and affinity for networking and business development.
- Awareness and general understanding of environmental considerations (i.e., contaminated soil and groundwater management during construction).
- Client-service orientation with the ability to anticipate needs and deliver to meet expectations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work well as a team member, with a collaborative communication style.
