Job Title: Production Operator- Afternoons
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator for our afternoon shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and changing over production line machines, troubleshooting, and maintaining machinery. You will ensure the smooth operation of our filling, bottling, capping, and labeling machinery.
Responsibilities
Setup and changeover production line machines including filling, bottling, capping, and labeling machinery.
Troubleshoot and maintain machinery by adjusting heights, widths, speeds, and other components.
Check output to stop any machine-related flaws and use hand tools to make minor repairs.
Document and maintain activity logs regarding downtime, quality of product, and other relevant data.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience in machine operation on a production line with conveyors and multiple components.
Experience in troubleshooting, setup, and changeover on production line machinery.
Proficiency in using hand tools for minor repairs (e.g., wrenches, allen keys, channel locks, mallets).
Experience in documenting downtime, quality checks, and general production data.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical aptitude.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to perform a variety of tasks and avoid repetitive work.
Team player with good communication skills.

Work Environment
You will work straight shifts in a temperature-controlled, very clean, and organized environment with a faint smell of soap. The dress code includes a lab coat provided by the client, long pants, and steel-toe boots. Shift hours are as follows: Days: 7 am - 3:15 pm, Afternoons: 3 pm - 11:15 pm with a .50 premium, and Nights: 11 pm - 7:15 am with a $1 premium.
