This position is based out of our Burlington, MA headquarters location, where we work a required hybrid schedule of in-office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays and remote on Wednesdays and Fridays.
What You will Accomplish
Our Senior Director, FP&A, will serve as the Chief Financial Officer-s right-hand person, leading strategic initiatives as well as leading financial planning and forecasting activities. As a true business partner, this individual will solve real business problems by forming and maintaining solid relationships within the business and using strategic analyses to understand and impact key business drivers:
Lead the Company-s measurement of the impact of marketing initiatives, connecting them ultimately to revenue generation and profitability. Used scenario-based modeling to understand the impact of initiatives on consumer purchasing behavior.
Define, develop, implement, and improve total company key performance indicators and methods for measurement, evaluation, and reporting on the key drivers of the business
Develop profitability models at the brand, customer, and product level by working with commercial organizations and operations
Responsibility for driving analysis and formulation of a plan to improve commercial spend effectiveness
Implement financial and business review processes, systems and capabilities to improve financial performance of the Company including business review cadence, scorecards, strategy and planning cadence
Lead financial analysis of initiatives, coordinating with Sales, Marketing, Consumer insights and other stakeholders, including development of KPIs, milestones and tracking methodologies
Understand the key drivers of our business and be the subject matter expert, coaching your business partners in the areas of costing, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
Lead and manage all aspects of company-wide financial planning, including strategic planning, the annual budgeting process, and in-year forecasting
Implement best practices as it relates to financial planning and analyses including processes, systems, tools, and techniques across the global business functions
Work directly with business unit leaders to solve business problems using the tools of financial analysis, forecasting and ad-hoc data analysis
Implement and oversee strong financial controls over accounting month, quarter and year-end accruals and expense management related to commercial spending, including monthly reviews, reconciliations, tracking and forecasting
Develop and manage a team of two finance professionals
Work across the director community to effectively solve problems, scope, and drive corporate initiatives to successful completion
Lead and coordinate preparation of Board and management presentations related to strategy, state of business, initiatives as needed.
Effectively present and work with the senior leadership team on financial planning priorities. Manage portfolio of FP&A projects including reporting and analysis projects, systems, process and capability building projects

In addition, for this specific role, we need someone who possesses:
A bachelor-s degree in finance, math, economics or a related field (MBA or Masters of Finance preferred)
8+ years of experience in roles of increasing responsibility within the FP&A function of an organization,
A minimum of 5 years of experience within a strategic commercial partnership role in a CPG company
Proven experience developing a high performing team
Expert in financial planning and analysis, modeling, systems, accounting, reporting and controls
Business acumen that drives decisions at both strategic and tactical levels
Ability to manage and work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously with minimal oversight
Ability to direct the work of others in gathering, analyzing, and reporting of various types of financial information
Well-developed written and oral presentation skills
