We are recruiting candidates for a Building & Grounds Helper at our coal fired Jeffrey Energy Center, wage rate $23.18 per hour. Please find below a list of the minimum requirements for the position. Building & Grounds Helperwill be responsible for building and grounds janitorial and basic maintenance functions.
The successful candidate must be able to perform work in varying environmental conditions. Must be available for overtime including days off. Computer knowledge including but not limited to word documents & spreadsheets is required. An excellent work history and safety record is required.

Licenses, Certifications, Bonding and/or Testing Required:
Must possess a high school certificate or equivalent.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must successfully complete the EEI MASS/POSS Aptitude Test
Working Conditions: Time will be spent in the power plant in a noisy industrial environment. This includes areas of extreme temperature, times of inclement weather, and work at heights above ground. Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and leather work boots. Must have a satisfactory work record including good attendance. This position works rotating shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays. Must live within 50-minute drive time of the plant.
