DATE: May 13, 2021 POSITION: Secondary Market Assistant LOCATION: Burleson, TX SALARY: Negotiable, depending upon experience *AgTexas, at its sole discretion, may offer this position with a different title based upon the qualification of the candidate. COMPANY PROFILE: AgTexas Farm Credit Services serves approximately 2,600 borrowers in a 43-county trade territory, including metropolitan areas of Amarillo, Lubbock and Fort Worth. The association has an average volume of approximately $2 billion. The association territory presents tremendous opportunity as it encompasses several rapidly growing rural home markets while providing diversity in production and mortgage loans and commodities financed. The ag loan portfolio consists of cotton, livestock, dairy, feed grains, real estate and ag-related business loans. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma and one (1) or more years of experience in mortgage lending support or in a related field. General knowledge of accounting, financial systems as well as documentation requirements for mortgage lending. General knowledge of office equipment. Skill in oral communication and specialized knowledge of written correspondence principles. Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications. Works under close supervision. JOB PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Assists Mortgage Loan Originators with secondary market loan transaction and loan related documents. Performs routine duties and activities related to office administration and secondary market transactions. Has frequent interaction with secondary market customers and prospective customers to aide in loan processing. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Frequent interaction with association departmental staff, lending team and management. Occasional interaction with association senior management, Farm Credit Bank of Texas, and CEO. Frequent interaction with area professionals, including real estate agents, commercial bankers, and others who deal with the association in the normal course of business.
