PETROL, a leading full-service advertising agency specializing in progressive marketing for some of the biggest brands in tech, sports, and video gaming—among many more—is seeking a full-time Planner (Marketing/Emerging Media) . With dedicated departments for print services, motion graphics, AV, social media, interactive/digital, as well as media planning & buying, we regularly develop fully integrated global marketing campaigns for some major brands across genres.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Involved in reviewing markets and developing recommendations for most effective use of emerging media for our company and for our markets.

  • Will be expected to gain a full understanding of clients' businesses, and to develop, grow, and maintain relationships with internal teams and external partners.

  • Work closely with media team members, and seek investigate and actively pursue innovative communications opportunities in the biddable, emerging media marketplace.

  • Work will include search & social strategy planning, research and ad copy, campaign set-up and planning, check and optimize on targeting and ad performance, and relted reporting.

  • Will identify trends in data and provide insights for team, and be expected to read graphs and charts, and analyze large sheets of data.

  • Work will involve measurement and tracking methods to achieve campaign KPIs, review performance metrics for advertising and landing pages and how they relate to campaign and client objectives, and performing other duties as required.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Required

  • Master's degree in communications, media or related field

  • At least 6 months in position offered or as a search marketing strategist

  • Optimize digital campaigns for e-commerce client through ad channel diversification and audience segmentation

  • Grow digital marketing activities for various brands

  • Plan and execute emerging media campaigns

  • Use of performance metrics for advertising

  • Analyze large amounts of data

  • Buying paid media/ads on Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and Google or YouTube

  • Strategic media planning & campaign management

  • Market research within entertainment industry

  • Translate research data into actionable insights through story-driven reports and presentations

    Salary Range: $79,622 to $85,000 per year

    While performing the duties of this job, you'll be frequently sitting at and using a computer and phone. You might occasionally need to stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 10 pounds.
