UCLA Health Program Coordinator - Per Diem Physician Program - Primary Care Network in Burbank, California
Description
In this role, you will work with our Primary Care Network Per Diem physicians to ensure onboarding, orientation, placement, and staffing support for the Primary Care Network practices.
You will also work with practice managers to ensure all incoming requests for Per Diem physicians are reviewed and responded to in a timely manner. You will be responsible for creating assignments based on need and availability of resources and regularly checking in with Per Diem physicians to ensure they have the support and proper training to do the work required for all requests.
In this role, you will work closely with the Clinical Director (Primary Care Network), Medical Director, and managers and directors of all practices to understand their needs and review information with leaders to assess the goals of the Per Diem physician pool.
Salary Range: $31.20-$49.77/Hourly
Qualifications
At least 2 years of healthcare experience working with physicians in an outpatient setting.
Exceptional ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with physicians, staff, patients, and administrative personnel.
Ability to independently analyze information or problems identifies relevant factors, trends, and options, then implement and monitor solutions.
Skill in organizing and prioritizing workload in order to meet deadlines in light of changing, heavy workload and competing requirements.
Ability to perform advanced mathematical calculations related healthcare finance quickly and accurately.
Ability to maintain helpful, caring and courteous relationships with our patients, co-workers, and physicians.
Working knowledge of the organization and where to go to get issues resolved.
Ability to perform all Microsoft Word and Excel with accuracy and appropriate formatting.
Ability to perform job duties in a detailed and accurate manner.
Skill in performing with frequent interruptions and/or distractions.
Ability to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed.
