Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Burbank, California
Description
A manufacturing company in the Burbank area is looking for an accounts payable specialist to help the team. You will be responsible for invoice processing and will work closely with the General manager. You must be able to work fully onsite in Burbank. This is a temp to hire position.
Duties include:
Handling vendor invoices.
Resolving vendor payment discrepancies.
Reconciling vendor statements regularly.
Managing departmental mail and approvals.
Drive process improvements to boost efficiency.
Executing weekly payment runs.
Backing up other department members as required.
Undertaking additional duties as needed.
Requirements
Ideal candidate will have:
AA Degree
A fundamental understanding of accounting.
2-3 years Accounts Payable experience
Swift and meticulous data entry skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Flexibility to work overtime if needed.
Ability to tackle multiple tasks and priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
