**JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title : Extrusion Operator II Division: Extrusion Status: Hour;y Reports To: Extrusion Supervisor Location: Bulls Gap
Job Purpose -[Proper and efficient operation of all plant extrudes, down streams, pullers, saws, and other associated extrusion equipment
Key Relationships:[Extrusion Shift Supervisors, Extrusion Team Leaders, Other Extrusion Operators, Research and Development Employees, Extrusion Maintenance Technicians, Tooling Mold Techs, Production Reporting Coordinators, Quality Control Employees, Extrusion Fork Truck Operators, Extrusion Packers.

The normal and emergency operating (Starting, Stopping, Shutting Down) procedures for extrusion lines and associated equipment
The preparation of extrusion line equipment for start up
Checking extrusion lines to be properly set up for profile to be produced
Cleaning of extruders, down streams, pullers, saws, and associated extrusion line equipment and associated equipment
Periodic inspections of extrusion equipment to assure readiness for operation
Assisting other operators during line start up and shut down and during emergency situations such as but not limited to equipment failure
Reporting of equipment failures, maintenance and safety issues to Extrusion Shift Supervisor and/or Team Leader
Writing work orders for equipment maintenance required
Notifying Mold Techs of any tooling failures or issues
Performing any necessary adjustments to equipment (color, length, die shift, pin changes, etc.) to assure production of profiles remain in compliance with profile specifications
Order materials as needed to maintain line production
Take readings and make board checks in order to assure product meets proper profile specifications
Maintain all records required by Extrusion Standard Operating Procedures
Create proper labeling and apply to all crates and carts of finished products, scrap, purge and other materials as required by Extrusion Standard Operating Procedures
Maintain proper documentation for all finished products and scrap
Build crates as required to meet product package specifications
Explain proper packaging of finished products to Extrusion Packers
Give or make arrangements to allow breaks for Extrusion Packer/s assigned to your line/s
