Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance of plant machinery.
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools, power tools and reassemble equipment. • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of the building does not deteriorate. • Effectively perform maintenance with the use of tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, precision measuring instruments, electrical and electronic testing devices. • Repair and diagnose machinery with knowledge of computers and electronics, circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, computer hardware, applications and programming. • Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical components, pipe systems, and plumbing, machinery, and equipment. • Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary. • Perform other related duties.
Shift: 3rd 9:30pm - 6:00am Pay: $32-$33/hr
