Position Summary:

The School of Management (https://management.buffalo.edu/) invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position in Supply Chain and Operations Management. This a one-year appointment (with the possibility of extension by an additional year) and will begin in August 2024. Qualified candidates at the Associate and Full Professor Rank will also be reviewed and considered.

The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in Operations Management, Management Science, or a related field by August 2024 and demonstrate an outstanding teaching record and/or potential. Industry experience is preferred but not required.

The candidate is expected to:

  • Teach 3 courses for each Fall and Spring semester at the undergraduate/graduate levels

  • Contribute to the intellectual community of the department and demonstrate potential for high-quality scholarly research

The search committee is especially interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching, and/or service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.
