Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled TIG Welder to join our team in Buffalo, New York. If you have expertise in Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding, particularly with aluminum and stainless steel, and take pride in producing precise, high-quality welds, we would love to connect with you. Key Responsibilities:
Perform TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel components, with a focus on achieving high precision and quality.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and welding symbols to ensure accurate execution of welding tasks.
Prepare materials by cutting, beveling, and shaping to meet project requirements.
Conduct both pre-welding and post-welding inspections to ensure high-quality standards and compliance with specifications.
Maintain and calibrate welding equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Adhere to all safety protocols, using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot and resolve any welding challenges.
Assist in mentoring and training less experienced welders, fostering a strong, skilled team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a TIG welder, specializing in aluminum and stainless steel.
Strong understanding of TIG welding techniques, materials, and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols with great attention to detail.
Commitment to high-quality workmanship and maintaining strict quality control standards.
Familiarity with safety protocols and the proper use of PPE.
Physical ability to handle and manipulate heavy materials safely.
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification from a recognized welding institution is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00
