CTG Configuration Management Coordinator in Buffalo, New York

CTG is seeking to fill a Configuration Management Coordinator opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.

Location: Buffalo, NY

Duration: 6 months with possible extension or conversion to full time employment with the client.

Overview:

The Configuration Management Coordinator will deliver day-to-day configuration management services to the organization with minimal direction, focusing work on prioritized tasks.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform operational activities based on configuration management policies and procedures.

  • Fulfilling CM service requests as assigned.

  • Engaging with strategic projects to ensure CM can deliver required functionality within project time frames.

  • Collecting and reporting on metrics as required.

  • Identifying and reporting on noncompliance situations.

  • Identifying service improvement opportunities.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

  • Mentoring and coaching less experienced engineers, technicians, and integrators.

  • Oversee design, coding, and testing of reports as needed.

  • Performing CM audits as directed.

Education and Experience Required:

  • A combined minimum of 5 years of higher education and/or work experience in systems design, management, and/or architecture.

  • Experience with strategic projects and ensuring configuration management can meet functionality requirements within project timelines.

  • Proven ability to collect and report on metrics.

  • Ability to identify and report noncompliance issues.
