The opportunity
Delaware North is hiring for a Supplier Relationship Manager to join the Procurement team at our Global Headquarters in Buffalo, New York. The Supplier Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing local and regional suppliers with an emphasis on food and beverage distributors in the packaged foods, protein, dairy, and specialty foods. You will develop and manage strategic supplier relationships with suppliers achieve organizational goals and drive compliance to organizational specifications.
Pay
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $81,900 - $110,600 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?
Build, Develop, and maintain relationships with suppliers, both internal and external.
Track and monitor supplier performance to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with suppliers to overcome challenges and identify opportunities to improve performance and overall service levels.
Implement strategies to create value that develops a partnership between suppliers and Delaware North.
Develop, implement, and optimize supplier management processes, tools, and policies.
Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and monitor supplier Key Performance Indicators.
Manage disputes and coordinate supplier resolution plans to meet the needs of operations.
Provide guidance to operations for new supplier onboarding.
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives.
More about you
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, finance, accounting, economics, or related field required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relationship focused role with extensive food service category management experience preferred.
Strong negotiation skills with experience negotiating commercial terms and service level agreements.
The ability to interact with executives and stakeholders at all levels of the organization and deliver effective presentations.
Excellent knowledge of the hospitality industry and supplier management preferred.
Strong financial acumen with consultative, analytical, and problem solving skills.
