Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an individual with skills in Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, and SAP to join our team as a Staff Accountant. Located in Buffalo, New York, you will be working in an environment that values safety and security, while performing a variety of accounting tasks and financial analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Consistently observe safety and security procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel.

• Prepare monthly expense analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Gather data and prepare information as requested by the team.

• Assist in the monthly close procedures to ensure a timely and efficient process.

• Provide financial analysis as requested by management.

• Perform other related duties as assigned or as may be required to meet emergencies.

• Comply with all quality assurance, customer focus, infection control, safety and policies and procedures within the department. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar

• Demonstrable skills in Bank Reconciliations

• Proven ability to work with General Ledger

• Proficiency in making Journal Entries

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with SAP software

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field is preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly strong skills in Excel

• Ability to work independently and within a team.
