Title: Software Engineer II
Job Location: One Seneca St. Buffalo, NY 14203.
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java technologies, including Springboot Framework, JSP, and JSTL; manage relational databases using Oracle; automate tasks using Shell Scripting; implement web features using JavaScript; work with Microservices and GitLab; perform requirement gathering, analysis, estimation, architecture designing, prototyping, development, and implementation; prepare flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate sequence of steps to describe logical operations involved; collaborate with architects to define architecture models and design critical integrations and components; develop responsive applications that work and render on desktop, tablets, and mobile devices; create reusable components for application; write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections; conduct user training, perform periodic system updates, and interact with users for future enhancements; perform object-oriented analysis and design and apply industry best practices and techniques; setup, configure, and deploy the applications on internet information services; perform unit automated testing of applications with Junit; solve vulnerability and accessibility testing related issues; conduct performance tuning, production support and root cause analysis for production live servers; and attend scrum meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Java technologies, Microservices, GitLab, Springboot Framework, JSP, and JSTL; utilizing relational database management systems including Oracle; automating tasks using Shell Scripting; implementing web features using JavaScript.
Salary: $123,000.00 - $133,000.00 per year.
